T-minus 1 hour!!

Dan and I are a little over an hour away from our departure. We're supposed to meet my Uncle and cousin at 8:30 AM at Brennan Island State Rec. Area to begin our ride. We're almost done packing, and we think we have functioning bikes and packs.

About 2 AM this morning Dan finally figured out how to attach his rack to his bike (purchased about 6 hours before). It was quite the complicated procedure considering the bolts for attaching were the wrong size. This was shortly after I had finished shaving my face to complement my shaven head from the day before. I'm sure to be extremely aerodynamic on the bike and leave Dan in my dust.

About 3 hrs ago at 3:30 AM I finally got all packed up and turned in for the night. As I went to bed, Dan was trying to frantically finish up a paper due for one of his environmental engineering classes. He happily finished.
